Wow! Really impressed! They let us in right when they were closing which was super nice of them. Our host was very happy and even slid down the rail for us and did a little dance. Our server was so friendly and made great recommendations. Then the gift shop person approached us and let us know she was closing the shop (since we had bought a glass that you get to keep *given another one in the gift shop*) so she brought us the new glass wrapped up at our table. The appetizers and drinks were delicious!

The Hard Rock chain is all the same. The menu the atmosphere the everything. It used to have better food in my opinion. We came here high because it is one of our go to spots in MB. We ordered the nachos for an app and they def are not the same as they used to be, skimpy on the toppings that is for sure! We shared the grilled veggie pizza and it was good, just way to much cheese. I would request them to go light on it if your want to taste anything other than cheese. Our waitress was friendly and nice and very attentive. The bloody Mary's were good but you have to request the celery and olives, weird. We came at lunch time and sat right down.

My fiancé and I went there for dinner at 5:30pm on 9/5/15 (Saturday). No line. Staff was friendly. Greeted right away. Waitress was excellent. We both ordered the Mac-chicken-and-cheese which we both loved and would recommend. Food came out very prompt. Drinks are slightly expensive which is expected when you're paying more for the environment. I would recommend Hard Rock to anyone. Fun for all ages and lots of memorabilia to view. We always get a shot glass at each new Hard Rock that we go to.

Egyptian-themed Hard Rock Cafe. Two-story restaurant with all of the seating on the bottom floor. There's an elevator to get up and down while the gift shop is on the top floor. I honestly don't remember there being a handicap-accessible area to get into the restaurant itself - since you have to climb up a ton of stairs - but I could just be forgetting. Really odd experience. It's clear that they've gone all-out to make this a tourist attraction - instead of focusing a lot on the restaurant. Prices for the meal was kinda intense. Bottled beers were $6.50 a piece. Drinks were $3.80 for soda, I believe. They left Hard Rock Cafe themed drinking glasses on the table that they wanted us to purchase. Food itself was over $13-ish a person. Very expensive while the food itself didn't taste so great. I was very "meh" on my food (Twisted Mac & Cheese) and think I've had a lot better at other noodle places. The other two people in the party loved their food choices, though. Service was okay. Things moved a bit more slowly than I would have liked, but it was still reasonable. A photographer came by and took our photo together as a souvenir. That's cute! I really liked our photo, and they said they'd sell us a copy for $20. One copy. For $20. That's insane. They take virtually no ink to print, they clearly have already hired the photographer to take the photo, and they already had printed it to show us. If it was $5 or $10 (or anything that was reasonable for an 8x10 print), it'd be different, but that's just ridiculous. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Had a shirt I loved at the giftshop. Was told they only sell it in Extra-Small and Small. Also left a bad taste in my mouth. Probably wouldn't come back. Prices are a bit too much and I don't really feel like a valued guest here - just a tourist they're trying to get as much money out of as possible.

I've been to several Hard Rock's and I have to say they are all pretty much the same food wise. Theme wise and obviously service they differ. As the other Hard Rocks all have music memorabilia around inside, the outside of this one is a pyramid and had more of a Egyptian feel inside, but still really nice. The music is always playing and I liked the wide variety they had. They even played "Let It Go" from Frozen, which my 2.5 year old loved. For a Wednesday evening and a party of 10, we waited maybe 5 minutes, but was sat quickly. Our server was great and very attentive. They were busy and with big parties, he did a great job of keeping up with all his tables. We started with an order of the nachos and added chicken. They are huge and definitely plenty to share. They were also very good. Our table ordered a variety of food from burgers, pasta, shrimp, salmon, ribs, and a salad. Everything I tried (salad, salmon, and ribs) was delicious. The ribs were super tender and cooked perfectly. The salmon was wood-fire cooked and cooked perfectly as well. I found my salad to be delicious. I absolutely loved the lemon balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It was the perfect compliment to the chicken, pecans, cranberries, and oranges. This is definitely a tourist spot, but fun and the food is good. We also loved the kids plate, which is a guitar and ended up buying one for our daughter!

We were warned by our family not to cone here as they had a bad experience, but we went anyway because we have always enjoyed this Hard Rock Cafe. I'm SO glad we did. It wasn't busy (around 4pm on a thursday) and our service was friendly. The manager and our server were great. Our 3 and 5 year old loved the decor and it kept them busy while waiting for food. Their meals cane out before ours as soon as they were ready, which was much appreciated because they were hungry from a day of shopping and fun. They served them on guitar shaped plates and the kiddos were thrilled. Husband and I ordered The Texan and the Spicy Italian Pizza. Both were delicious. When our meal was finished our server informed us that she was taking off both kids meals and bringing us dessert because according to her manager we had to wait too long for food. The wait was a bit long, but we weren't complaining, we were enjoying each other's company. :) We thanked them profusely for noticing and for their awesome service. When our dessert cane out it was HUGE. Certainly big enough for a family of four. It was a brownie sundae made with Ben & Jerrys and hot fudge. The brownie was amazing. Seriously a fabulous experience. Can't thank the staff enough. We will be returning! We come to Myrtle Beach a few times each year.

My boyfriend and I decided to try the hard rock really because everything else around it had some bad reviews. The service was mediocre and the food was alright. The set up for the restaurant was pretty cool. It was designed like a pyramid and the restaurant itself was in the basement. There is an outside bar upstairs for guests who would like patio dining. The bartender refilled our drinks more than our server. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but nothing will make me want to go back. I ordered a cobb salad and noticed it came out without avocado. One of the main reasons I ordered it. I asked the server about it and he said "oh yeah we ran out of avocado about 20 minutes ago" if he would I have told me that I would have ordered something else. One thing that surprised me was how extensive the drink menu is and how small the actual menu is. I didn't see a manager present.

Went to Hardrock Cafe tonight. Was excited to try it! First, the prices were crazy, but we decided to go ahead and try it anyways. After ordering while waiting on our food we seen a HUGE cockroach crawl right across the floor. All the tables around us seen it as well. Management seemed to care less. Needless to say we cancelled our order and left!

I love this restaurant!! Such a cool atmosphere and you're in a pyramid! The food is fantastic and the service is great! The BBQ hickory bacon cheeseburger is phenomenal and my personal favorite. They've got some pretty cool memorabilia on the walls too to look at while you're there. One of the many must see places to check out in Myrtle Beach!!!

Look for the big pyramid, you can't miss it! I've been coming here on-and-off for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. As you might expect, things can get a little nutty during the busy season, but the food is always good and the service is excellent. I suggest the skirt steak brushed with Mad (VanHalen) Anthony's hot sauce! Big fan of the hot fudge sundae here, too! This particular location also has a very nice selection of memorabilia. If you happen to hit this place during the summer months, be sure and grab a seat outside. The bar area overlooks Celebrity Square at Broadway At The Beach. This is a busy tourist area loaded with bars so the built in entertainment (people watching) is awesome! In fact, I'll go for a beer sometimes just to watch the tourists lose their minds! Seriously, someone should sell tickets! As with any busy tourist spot at the beach, it never hurts to phone ahead for a reservation. That said, it's open year round so you might just get the place to yourself during the winter! Have Fun! -Neil NOTE: See that little link over to the left that says, "follow this reviewer?" Yes, click that if you'd like to see more of my reviews in the future;-)

Food was great as always! The kids plates were uniquely shaped like a guitar. Service was fast and efficient. Love Hard Rock Cafe! Also got double points for the visit!!

I don't know why I keep letting myself get dragged into any Hard Rock Cafe...even if it is only every few years. Like any chain, the food is consistent....over priced for the quality. The food was ok but was several dollars more than the same items at another national chain. Service was..eh. Atmosphere was consistent with what you would expect...my family are not huge fans so it was sort of lost on us. If you like any other Hard Rock Cafe, then you'll like this one too. If not, then not. Obviously, I do not.

  • Ken P.

Atmosphere was good, ton of stuff to look at. Music was a bit loud, couldn't talk at table without talking louder than normal. The burgers are all excellent! Very large, very tasty. But, a bit pricey. $15 for a burger and a few fries a little expensive. 3 burgers, 3 pops, and a fried shrimp lunch $95 with tip. Had $50 in gift cards so took some pain out of bill. Service was excellent, got there early at 4pm.

By far the worst dining experience I've had in Myrtle beach. Horrible food. The WORST drinks (specifically mojito) I've ever had. Go in and walk around for the tourist, Egyptian flare but do yourself a favor and skip the food and drinks!!!!!

  • Mike J.

First the server we had was amazing. Fun and informative. If all of them are like Spike than they are lucky. First time visitor to the Hard Rock. I see it in Vegas, New York and Atlantic city but never been. The food was as good as I've heard. Definitely a must return place.

My daughter had hair in her food. We didn't pay for her meal but everyone's meal was already ruined by that point. I was surprised a manager didn't stop over after finding hair in our food. Due to long wait we went to the bar outside first. The bartenders pretty much ignored us. We had to wait for refills and the drink prices were fairly high. The food prices are high and the quality was ok at best. I've been to several other hard rock locations the food seemed to be of a higher quality than the Myrtle Beach location. I would recommend going someplace else. There are too many places with better food and prices in the area to go here.

Ok, so its a little pricey, but honestly, what do you expect at Myrtle Beach. We ordered 2 Club sandwiches and a Legendary Cheese Burger, and 3 sweet teas, the total bill was $57.07 for 3 people to eat. My burger was nothing short of spectacular, and my wife says this is the biggest Club Sandwich she has ever seen. To sum it up, fodd was great, service was terrific, and the atmosphere is totally awesome. Had a blast and will surely be back!

Don't come in the summer time. This is (or was) my go-to HRC for food and new pins, but tonight was not a good experience. I always come in the fall or spring and have never had problems. Tonight the server was poorly trained, appetizer and food came out at the same time (so our food got cold), and they made a big deal about letting me use my $15 member reward certificate in combination with the birthday reward (BOGO entrée). The $15 reward certificate said no exclusions and specifically said "can be used with other offers". The birthday offer said it couldn't be used with anything else... I get that, but then why not mention that on the $15 coupon's fine print? When the $15 is supposed to be accepted like cash? So we tried to split the bill instead with the entrees on one check, that way my friend could use the $15 to pay for the drink and appetizer (which was $20 total). The manager said she would try to do that, but returned saying that it didn't add up to more than $15, because the certificate couldn't be applied to alcoholic drinks. Instead she knocked the $12 appetizer off the bill and said that was the best she could do. Wish she had mentioned that it wouldn't work with the alcohol to begin with, because I would've preferred to hold onto the coupon and used it for the full discount. They ran my card for the one ticket, came back and said they forgot to charge me for the other meal and had to run it again. Basically I lost $3 of my discount for no reason. And, yeah, it's only $3. On the flip side, the reason I had that $15 member rewards coupon was because I spent a couple hundred dollars on merchandise and food back in February. Was it worth it to make everything difficult and keep the $3 and then risk losing me as a customer? I guess so. I would've happily returned and spent a bunch of money on food and merchandise again in the fall, but I think I will steer clear from now on. I'm just one measly customer, no big loss to them. But I will say this: the food and drinks are expensive - you're really paying for the atmosphere and experience. So when they can't make the experience a good one, it's not worth it to return.

Went here for a quick burger and beer late one evening. The famous burger for this location was the garlic burger. Wow ! Very garlicky but super tasty, I must have this recipe. The garlic fries were pretty damn good too. Nice selection of beers on tap, I went with a blue moon w/orange, hit the spot to clear my palet of garlic goodness. The bartenders were super cool, we were only ones at the bar so we talked to them pretty much till closing.

If you want to wait 2 hours (at 6pm on a Tuesday) to eat Ruby Tuesdays quality foot at steak house prices then this is the place for you. Sure, there are things to look at, but the place was so packed with people waiting to be seated that we didn't get to see any of it. The temp in the restaurant must have been 80 degrees and it was miserable. The waiter was decent, but the food was mediocre at best. The entrée selection is also very limited. Don't wast your time at this place. By the way, they have a large seat yourself dining area at the outside bar that was totally empty, but they don't tell you about that when you put your name on the 2 hour wait list.

    (1)
  • Brett J.

Overpriced, not very tasty. I ordered a Baja Burger. A comparable item at Steak 'n Shake is way tastier and about a third of the price. The waiter didn't get around to bringing refills until well after my drink had been empty, and forgot to bring my salad. I was drug here by family, but I would never go back again. The decor in the place is nothing more special than an Applebee's, and the food is worse. Skip this Hard Rock, there will be one in another city you can go to, you tacky tourist.

I have been to several Hard Rocks & am never disappointed in the food. This was no exception. The place was packed and we had about a 20 minute wait. Our server was a guy who goes by Spike, very friendly guy. Likes to gives high fives and'or hugs at the end of meals. The kitchen was very backed up & he kept letting us know that & why which was nice. I walked around as always looking at the memorabilia & taking pics. I was disappointed a bit with the memorabilia on the walls here. Not much good stuff I was interested in. Our food came & like I knew, it was delicious. I LOVE their big, juicy burgers. So filling. Spike was a great guy & very nice & very friendly. Can't say enough nice things about him. Oh everyone was friendly, especially Jesus, one of the managers. And to make up for our wait on the food they gave my daughter a free dessert. I highly recommend this place. Very ample parking too.

Been here multiple times and have always been pleased with the service and food. Same great atmosphere as you can expect from Hard Rock Cafe. Had their barbecue chicken this visit. Skin and sauce was delicious. It was a bit too dry on the inside however, for my tastes. Won't get that one again. My wife and daughter enjoyed their meals. Overall another good visit.

The service at the Hard Rock was amazing. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. She also was knowledgeable about the menu. However, they only get a 3 because our appetizer which was spinach dip was not good, it was warm not hot and kind of watery. I ordered the Chicken mac and cheese with bacon which was good with a large portion size.

Fast seating. Great seats. Lots of memorabilia. Friendly staff. Drinks were good. Food was good. Took awhile to actually get our food. Overall very please. Family of 4 was around $84.00

The key here is to get the local special. We got the local burger and twisted mac-and-cheese to share. The local burger at this time was a garlic chipotle sauce with fried onion straws on your standard burger. Burger was very good and cooked exactly as requested. Dipping sauce for the fires was a favorite for our party. For the mac-and-cheese, I love mac-and-cheese and have become harder to impress. This version was pretty good. The addition of the red peppers gave the flavor some depth more than just cheese. The cheese sauce I would rank about middle of the pack of what I have had. Seemed like it may have been a pre-packed cheese sauce that was added. Overall not bad, the atmosphere is neat with music memorabilia and the kids absolutely loved watching music videos...something that is hard to find on TV any more! :)

Went on a Monday at 4 told a 45-50 minute wait, but only waited 30 mins. Lots of empty tables so must not have had enough staff during Spring Break? Server was attentive and friendly. Memorabilia is always cool:) we order potato skins which were 5 of them large and crisp much better than TGIF Friday's. We ordered BBQ bacon cheeseburger and the legendary burger and kids Mac and cheese. Burgers were done correctly however the grease from the burger made the whole bottom bun soggy and gross. We are it with a knife and fork YUCK! The cocktail the toasted coconut mojoio was ok a little too sweet:( second one tasted stronger than the first. They have consistently issues. For $73 for 3 people it blew the budget. Very very dissatisfied!!

Simply disappointing....I have sadly fallen victim to a restaurant of notoriety. I ordered the mezcarita, which must translate to lime and strawberry juice. I ate the beef and shrimp fajitas, which wait time was 25 minutes and tasteless. There's not enough guac to make that meal satisfying. The only redeeming factor was the good service. Start prioritizing rocking on the food and beverage before the bday call outs.

Great evening at The Hard Rock. Who knew In February on a Monday night that we would be almost the only people in the restaurant/bar. Had a great time. It was NOT loud, we could talk and listen to the music. Cory was a great bartender, friendly and made great recommendations on drinks and food. Then came desert. Wow the chocolate molten lave cake was fantastic. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants but we had a great time tonight.

  • Alexica M.

The wait was 45 minutes to an hour. The food ordered came out cold -ribs as well as an uncooked French fry in the cole slaw. The nachos weren't made correctly But the drinks were on point. I won't be visiting again...disappointed

  • Kyle E.

The chicken fajitas made for an exceptional dinner. The guac really made it. I also had a tall piña colada in a souvenir glass--$15 for just that but I'm glad I had it and the glass as a keepsake. The waitstaff are very skilled and friendly.

I've been to several Hard Rock Cafe's all over the world and this one was just as cool. As some of you know I'm a Mac and cheese snob. I feel that if a place offers a side dish as an entree then it better be amazing; I see it as it is either awesome Mac and cheese or they are kidding themselves. Anyway...challenge accepted. The chicken served on the dish was very dry and not really seasoned so well. The sauce was decent but there was not much of it. The amount of sauce was stifled more by the large amounts of bread crumbs on top of the dish. The saving grace was that I was given another chicken breast to replace the dry one. The lava cake was amazing although the middle of the cake wasn't as..."lava-like" as I would like. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was of course, very cool.

I brought my friends here when we stopped in Myrtle Beach for spring break. The waiter must have already written us off because on both my boyfriends dish and my own he brought out the plates without our sides. He never noticed and I ended up having to ask him about it when he walked back with the check because he never even walked back to check on us. The atmosphere is always fun at Hard Rock Cafe, but it's pretty bushleague to bring out multiple meals without one of the sides.

Food and drink was amazing! That's it! Service was horrible. We didn't see our waitress after she took our order. Had to ask a different waiter for ketchup and yet another for our bill after waiting a half hour after we were done eating. Would have loved to have spoken to a manager, but didn't have an extra half hour to spare!

    (1)
  • Becky B.

They didn't really have a good way to get you to a table. No list, no buzzers, no nothing... just a basically friendly guy yelling down the stairs to another Hard Rock person. It took WAY too long for our food to arrive, my daughter was almost in tears. The burger I had was filled with great potential, but fell short. There were no condiments on it, and ketchup seemed to be the only option. The food delivery people seemed confused. They came to our table twice with food we didn't order. Having said all that, there was definitely a fun vibe there, but not enough to make me go back.

  • Megan B.

I had an amazing white sangria but the food was so so. I had a run in with undercooked pork in the bbq pork sandwich I got. The manager had the kitchen remake my food and then took $5 off the ticket. I appreciate that but the food just wasnt worth what we paid for it. The spinach dip was nothing to write home about. It was pretty much just bland but the pita that came with it was decent. The wait staff was also needy. It was almost like our waitress was begging for me not to comment on how she told me that the pork on my sandwich was supposed to be bleeding and undercooked. It is what it is...We won't be back!

Avoid at all costs. My friend and I decided to try it out, because, why not. We figured we had a 50/50 shoot of it being any good. Well, we were promptly seated, and waited...waited...and waited for a waitress to come get our drinks. It took over 15 minutes, and the place was not that busy. We both ordered the burgers. Let's just say that I've had better burgers at McDonald's. The bun fell apart and everything else just slid off the burger. The fries were alright. And, $3.50 for a glass of sweet tea?!?!? Just don't go!

The food was great! Everything you would expect from any Hard Rock Cafe. My husband had the "Local Legend" burger and I had the twisted Mac and cheese. We highly recommend both. The server was awesome. She was extremely welcoming and informative of the menu. Thanks Rayna! Overall great experience!

We loved the food and the music! Such a cool atmosphere to be in! The fare is simple steak, bbq, and burgers and fries. And sometimes simple is best. I will definitely go back. I ordered the brisket sandwich which came with hot seasoned fries, slaw, and cowboy beans. It was delicious! Plan to spend about $20 per person for dinner.

Good food, barely any wait which was a little surprising. Don't get the Mac and cheese like my brother did. It's not at all like described and has a pure of chicken just tossed on top with garlic bread. I've had similar dishes elsewhere and they looked way better. Atmosphere is nice with lots to look at and wait staff super nice and accommodating. They let my brother give back his entree and offered him something else but he decided to just finish his appetizer. Recommend getting the Texan but ask for extra BBQ sauce.

I will never eat here with my family ever again. Half of the tables were empty and they told us 10 to 20 minutes. After a half hour I had my family leave as we can not stand there with hungry kids and wait. We left and it ruined our day with kids that cried to eat and got nothing when half the tables in the place were empty. Do not take kids there.

Nice atmosphere, food was okay. I didn't order them but I kept smelling the fajitas which smelled delicious, so I'd probably order them in the future. FYI: lots of stairs, so prepare for a mini workout

[UPDATE:] After about 6 days of the fight, they placed the one that started the fight, on probation and the other (the one that didn't even throw any punches or anything) they fired. {Assbackwards? ..yes} So after a week & 1/2 of that, I found out that they finally fired the guy that actually started the fight and committed the assault, but only because there were complaints!! They were actually going to keep this guy on - keeping the one that committed the assault, even for a day, was unprofessional AND made the work conditions unsafe for their current employees. The manager told corporate, that he didn't even knew it happened (but yet, he was right there when it took place). I understand about having to cover your own ass; but seriously, what if he stabbed the guy? there were knives everywhere... or worse, did get his head in that fryer.. would he of still said he didn't see it...... Either way, the violent ass is gone and I, along with family and friends, will NOT be eating there anymore. -- Original Review: So apparently, Hard Rock in Myrtle Beach SC, now offers violence and an assault show with your meal!!! We visited on Myrtle Beach, SC on Monday July, 14th and around 10:00pm, (kitchen is open for view here) - there was a kitchen employee that actually attacked another employee.. he was seen by me, many other customers, employees and the general kitchen manager. This employee jumped on another employee and just started choking him!! Then the one that started the attack, went and tried to stuff his co-worker's (the one being attacked) face into a fryer!!! ....And after checking into today, the guy who was seen trying to kill the other employee, still works there!!! They both do!! I called the Corporate office in Florida and told them what happened and they claimed that there was no such manager that worked/works there. He was apologetic that this happened, but was more concerned the name didn't match - who the hell cares!!! Corporate didn't seem to care what happened. So, after the call took place, corporate did not nor does not care that another employee tried to kill another employee - very sad. ...if you didn't want to take any of the other factual information seriously... it was right there, in the kitchen -where food is served from, in front of customers, and other many witnesses - In a Hard Rock building, that they supposedly own and manage. But yet with a "what do you want us to do" attitude. According to your slogan: Love All. Serve All. Is bullshit. So that is the LAST time me, my family, friends, friends of friends and more so, will EVER eat there at that restaurant. And we are seriously questioning other Hard Rock's. We do not want to go in there and see that, especially risking the fact, that this person was in a room filled with knives and other deadly equipment, that he just might come after a customer next time!! That employee is mentally unbalanced and completely makes Hard Rock look unsafe to even shop at!! ... and I didn't even talk about how unprofessional the general manager was and is - why let these people continue to work there and put their other co-workers at risk like that?!!! Very Shameful!! Stop being greedy by thinking about your bonuses!! Think about the people that make that money for you. It's not all about opening new places so you can rake in money. You have to have consumers to do that. Keep that in mind. - I also posted this on my Google. We need to be aware of businesses that just do not care about their customers and their employees! - I had previously written a review where I liked this place. I DO NOT any longer - at least until they remove the employee that attacked his co-worker. Corporate can find out names in this incident, with simple fact checking of their own.

Very good food and experience! It was pretty loud in there like other below had mentioned, but seriously...you're at a "Hard Rock Cafe" in the middle of the biggest tourist spot in SC, it's going to be loud! I ended up getting a Veggie Burger and a hurricane drink, both were excellent. The inside was decorated nicely, the food and everyone's drinks were very good, I even ended up getting a charm from the gift shop upstairs. The reason why I did not give it 5-stars is because of their tourist photograph up-selling. You simply tell them no and they'll understand, but it comes off as very tacky. Also our waitress had a very thick accent (which is fine) but it was very hard to understand her and she had to repeat her-self a few times. 4-stars it is, it's a smidge pricey, but it was a good experience with good music, food, drinks, etc.

After constant pestering from our 15 year old and her friend, we caved and decided to go to the Hard Rock for dinner on a Monday night. The girls were SO excited to eat inside of this HR shaped like a pyramid and it was the first night of vacation, so why not? Oh -- where to start this review. Ok. From the moment we walked up, we were asked and asked and asked by staff to stand in front of a backdrop for a pic. We declined as nicely as we could all 3 times. We were quoted a 10 minute wait and waited close to 30. Looking at the memorabilia was cool, but items were somewhat lackluster. Attempted to surf the web on my phone to pass the time, but there is NO cell reception in this building. Once seated, we could barely hold a conversation it was so loud inside. Our waiter was nice enough, but somewhat inattentive. My husband asked how much the "Alternative Rock" drinks were (nonalcoholic fruity drinks for the girls) since there are NO prices on their drink menus and we were quoted $4. At $4, sure--let them have the experience, right? Wrong. The bill came and they were $9.99 each. Food: $9 for a chicken tender appetizer that was just so-so. I opted for the "Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese" for $18 upon suggestion from our server. It came out luke warm, the small amount of chicken on top tasted like fish (?!?), and the 2 sides of bread were burnt. Hubs got the Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich and said it was not worth the $12+. The girls said their Carolina BBQ sandwiches were ok. The long and short of it-- 4 meals + an appetizer + 2 "alternative rock" drinks = $98 better spent elsewhere. Highlight of the whole experience was watching the old skool music videos. It was too loud to hold a conversation anyway. We won't return again -- no matter how many times our teenager asks.

The only Hard Rock Cafe Pyramid in the world this is by far as much a tourist attraction as a restaurant! Like all Hard Rock Cafes it is a bit pricey but the staff was kind and The Texan pulled pork was to die for! If you don't want to spend $75.00 on four people don't eat there but at least go and take a look at the inside because it is fantastic!!

Really can't go wrong here. This is not my favorite Hard Rock location, I will review later on my favorite one later to come. There was a mad wait at 1:30 pm even in the bar area. However there was nobody sitting at the actual bar so we got served right away. Both Bartenders were great! They gave great service and that is the majority of the experience to me. Food was awesome also, I had the tupelo chicken fingers served with homemade potato chips. I know I know but I just love Hard Rocks Chicken fingers. My friend had the Santa Fe Spring Rolls, and they were really good also. Toss both down with a long island iced tea each and that was lunch. I will say I did not really care for the long island, the mix was too sour. But over all a good place to go at Myrtle Beach.

We got here and decided to eat at the bar since we weren't in the mood to wait for a table. The bar staff was fast and friendly, took very good care of us. I wanted something light so just ordered the Caesar salad for dinner, and it was very good. My buddy ordered some mashed potatoes, and they charged him 1.80 extra for gravy...somewhat silly if you ask me. Overall, the atmosphere here is fun, with music videos playing on all of the TVs, and the food is good. The food isn't cheap, but I have discovered that nothing at the Broadway at the Beach is.

This Hard Rock Cafe is different from others I've been to because the whole restaurant is built to look like an Egyptian pyramid but still has memorabilia and donated possessions from famous artists. The stairs outside take you to the second floor of the restaurant where the gift shop an hostess are located. Below in the open area near the giant stained glass window of an Egyptian pharaoh are most of the seats, but there is also a room underneath the stairs that looks likes more traditional hard rock cafe style and has a cape from Elvis and boots from Johnny cash.

The wife and I stopped here for drinks after shopping and weren't disappointed. Decent pour and a ton of specialty drinks to order. They had live music there but only until 11pm since it was a weekday I presume. Quick and friendly bar service.

Great meal fast service enjoyed our lunch . Price was reasonable lots of music memorabilia too look at. Had the pulled pork sandwich very tender. Very personable staff as well

The atmosphere is the most valuable asset, from walking up the steps of a giant pyramid to being surrounded by memorabilia that makes you go "oh hey looks it's Eric Clapton's guitar." Our server was an amazing guy, hey was very attentive and knew the menu well and was able to give us great feedback. He even did a little magic trick which entertained my whole family. The burgers we got were flavorful and amazing but that's because I like STRONG favors, my dad was reeling from the garlic that was on his legendary burger. The prices were fairly high but the atmosphere and food made it a very good choice.

I'd love to review the food or service, but I can't. We showed up at 3:30 on a rainy Friday, 2 adults and 2 children, looking for a late lunch. The hostess quoted us a 1 hour wait. We ran in to use the restroom and expected the place to be packed. It wasn't. At least half of the tables were empty. Completely empty. So why the hour wait? I asked the hostess and she said she was told to quote a wait. One can only assume the wait is intended to get people in to their store to buy some overpriced stuff. Ridiculous. They lost our business and left me completely soured on Hard Rocks. The food and atmosphere aren't good enough to justify making people wait an hour for NO reason.

    (1)
  • David N.

Long wait to be seated I understand because this is a tourist destination. A very long wait for food that was served ice cold is unforgivable. Waitress was decent and apologetic but that did not make up for the horrible food at outrageous prices. If you want to see the building and take in the atmosphere then by all means go, but don't expect excellent food from this place.

    (1)
  • Kai R.

Nice place, but nice places have long waits. The gift store is small, but decent. We did not stay to eat, as the wait was 30 minutes at 4:00 p.m., so...I can't rate the food, but the gift shop was nice.

The food is always good here! Every time I've been here it's been really good. I don't know that it's ever been quick (this was even in the winter where new people are only coming in every 5 mins or so), but it's good food and generally it's not the type of place you go for quick-service meals. I did have ribs and they weren't quite ready for the rib experience -- I had to ask for extra napkins, wet wipe, and a plate (for bones), which you'd think were standard with ribs but I felt like I was giving her a list. She happily obliged. There was no bib which I also asked for and generally tho I usually have too much pride to wear a bib, I was worried about my white sweater, but ate it carefully. Sodas were $3.50, which is exorbitant, esp. since they're served in very narrow cups and my husband i goes through lots of refills. The food in general is a bit more pricey than you'd pay for the same elsewhere, but that's somewhat to be expected? The ribs were excellent and more or less plentiful, so kudos there. An LOL moment, there was a large group wrapping up and they cleared out when "Let It Go" came on the screens and over the speakers. Not my fave either (an understatement), but little girls at other tables liked it. One note, we were patiently waiting on our food (remember the food not coming out so quickly?) and the server came over to ask if we were okay, which we said yes and she left but when she left I looked at my husband's drink and it was nearly gone. I would assume that's something a server should check when asking something like that and say she's bringing a new one without us asking. So, in summation, good food and worth the wait if you have the time, friendly enough service, just a few kinks I would've thought would be accepted as general practice.

Went early, 3:30. Greeter was rude. Acted like we were bothering her text messaging. Waitress was awesome and friendly! I had Cobb salad which was HUGE...family had burgers (medium) which were rare so if you want medium ask for medium well...touristy but cool to check out memorabilia

The place was very busy as expected. It's a pretty big hotspot for Myrtle Beach for lunch. The food was average it's what you would expect at the hard rock. If you don't have their premium membership expect to wait quite awhile in line. Our waitress was awesome very fast never had to ask for anything. If you know what to expect from a hard rock as far as food and ambience it's right and the exact same spot. I would say it meets expectations that's about it.

Hard Rock Cafe is part of what gives Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach its excitement. From when you first walk up to the pyramid of the building, the theme for Hard Rock grabs you in. Once inside, the rock history takes hold of you, with memorabilia on the walls, and a huge center area where there is dining, music and more. Shopping adds to the thrill, where you can purchase clothing, costume style jewelry, pins and knick knacks. The food is very good, with a variety of dishes to choose from. There are televisions playing, with music, and with all of that going on it tends to be very loud, so be prepared. This is not the place to come for a quiet dining experience. This is more of an entertainment style restaurant, where you can be a bit more raucous if you want to within reason. It's definitely one of our favorite places to go in Myrtle Beach. Keep in mind that Hard Rock can be very busy in the evenings, especially on the weekends. Plan on long wait times for a table.

We have been coming here for years when we vacation at Sunset Beach. We love this one! It is probably one of our favorite Hard Rocks! We come back every year we are in town. The downside is always how long you wait for a table. We got lucky this time and were able to walk right in to a table. The food was amazing and the drinks were perfect!

We enjoyed the atmosphere but there was a long wait for our food. This was understandable with a party of nine. However, once we received our food, we were very disappointed. For a place with such a limited menu, I expected much better food. The burgers were overcooked, dry and bland. The fries were also overcooked. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic but the service was slow. I do understand that she had her hands full with large parties. We most likely will not be back.

I have been to quite a few HRCs, but this is the first one in a pyramid! We came at kind of a weird time for a restaurant, 3pm for lunch and we had a great time. There was no one in the place and the service was wonderful. We even had the added bonus of watching people show up for interviews. (Tip: Men with ponytails don't look professional, even with a tie). The Carolina BBQ sandwich was so good we told strangers about it, the smoke Cobb salad was delicious, though it had a little too much dressing and the kids burgers were tasty good. After dinner we ended up splitting a brownie and ice cream creation which was fantastic, even though my son isn't the best at sharing. I would totally come here again, but next time to try one of their many fruity drinks.

6/26/10 Came here w/ sis and her family to catch the outdoor Blues Travelers concert. We were running out of time, so we decided to have dinner here, as well. While waiting for our food to arrive, I visited the gift shop to find a hoodie souvenir, which, to my delight, I found in the form of a red and white floral motif. (I would come to find a month later that this is the only hoodie design available- at least in two states.) The young gift shop staff, on the whole, were made up of what seemed to me foreign exchange students- genuinely interested in assisting me, if only they could understand what I was asking of them! Ah, well, they tried. The HOB burger I ordered (plain burger w/ added cheese and bacon) arrived, barely warm, a few seconds before I arrived back from the shop, and it was nothing to write home about. The plating was not impressive; in fact, my first thought was "Really? This is what HOB proudly presents to its guests as the 'HOB burger' ?" The serving of fries that accompanied this burger looked like it had been attacked by not just one staff member, but two or three-- I hope this measly portion is not what they normally would serve to guests! The accompanying photo was my plate, untouched by anyone in my party. (I was so baffled by the measly serving size that I must've asked everyone three times if they had helped themselves to my fries! They had their own fries to contend w/, so I believed their assurances.) The flag toothpick stuck on the burger just made for a very sad picture, indeed. The concert, while itself executed well by Blues Travelers' members, was, as I've mentioned, held outdoors- a fact we didn't know till only a few hours beforehand. Would've been alright, maybe even quite fun, if it wasn't so hot and humid out there. Oh well, next time I'll know better!

I had never been to a Hard Rock so my Husband wanted to take me here. We were greeted pretty quickly and told we could seat ourselves to the bar area. The bartender that had a long pony tail was not happy looking at all. Our greeting was, "need menus"? After saying yes, he let us know it's going to be a while before he gets to us. Really bad vibes. We saw the hostess seat someone in his section until he yelled across the bar to her that he's too busy for additional customers. We were just going to settle for a drink and move on after his attitude but decided to just leave all together.

These are tourist traps, so why would anyone complain about the prices . The pyramid is cool looking and the place is nice inside. Server was friendly and we were seated quickly. Food was average at best. Desserts were a little better. Beer was super colds a+!!

I have been to this HR a few times . I remember when I first saw the place. My jaw dropped. What a cool design, who would have thought of something like this. The design is to withstand hurricanes and inclement weather. Sometimes you can get bad wait service here. But if you bring in a pin from another Hard Rock and give it to your server you will get all the attention you need and more. Do this when they introduce themselves and make a big deal of it. Middle of the road food, good but not great. You come here for all the memorabilia , which is interesting to look at. It brings back memories. Yep, I was there when history was being made by many of these bands. If you have never been to a Hard Rock this is one of the coolest ones in the country. You have to go just to say " I went there " . Rock on !

*MUST READ* I came into this restaurant with high hopes of an outstanding dining experience. What I left with was so far from my expectations that my entire night, and possibly my spring break has been annihilated, and I am leaving Myrtle Beach with a disgruntled soul. Now let me tell you about this food. A friend and I split the buffalo wings which came out as cold as my waitresses soul. She gave me a bad look for asking politely for a refill of go ginger ale. I ordered the BBQ trio but they straight up forgot a key component, the fricken pulled pork! The brisket honestly was atrocious. There was more fat then meat, and it was chopped up like they were serving it up to the ugliest dog in the shelter. Am I really that ugly? Now that I think about it, that brisket was probably straight out of a can for my grandmothers cat.Consuming the brisket caused me to instantly contract food poisoning in its most wretched and purest form. The gas and waste product that the vile food produced was unholy, sinister and most definitely not normal. Next, the fries were burnt to a crisp; I am a baseball player currently batting .460, and I believe by substituting one of these French fries with my bat, I could double my batting average. These fries were so torched that when I bit into one, I thought I heard a bomb go off, but no, that was just my tooth exploding. The ribs were so bad. I honestly thought that this restaurant (dare I call it that) had brutally murdered several humans and used their meat as a substitute. In conclusion, I feel offended, disgusted, and most of all angry that this sad excuse of an establishment is still operating on such a large scale. If it were up to me I would shut every location down and mark a 2 mile radioactive zone around the former eatery to keep people from breathing the same toxic air that was once experienced by so many. ZERO STARS

Eh, I'm not the hugest fan of Hard Rock, but my fiance has never been so I thought we could stop by for a bite. The walls were covered with the typical rock and roll memorabilia which was cool to check out. We were taken right away which was nice since the day before when we attempted to eat it was about 1hr wait. We had quite the awkward table. It was down in the middle of everything. The noise level was very loud enough where you had to kinda shout to hear what someone else was saying. The waiter was nice, and pretty attentive. The food was good. I had some grilled chicken avacado sandwich and my finance had a cheeseburger. HUGE portions, I ended up taking half of mine home. The chocolate milkshake was yum. Ben and Jerry's ice cream? How can you go wrong with that. My only downside to the place is that it was pricey, but its Hard Rock so I knew it was going to be a bit overpriced before walking into the door, also we had paid cash for the meal and the waiter told us that he was able to give us the cash back, but they didn't have the $0.46, which isn't the BIGGEST deal by any means, but I just thought it was a little odd that a restaurant like Hard Rock didn't have change. Needless to say I would come back, maybe in a larger group, seems a bit awkward for 2 people to sit and enjoy.

Everything you expect the Hard Rock to be -- Great Rock & Roll atmosphere! Very clean! Great service! (waiter was friendly and helpful) The smoked (fire grilled) chicken wings (with tangy BBQ sauce) are delicious! If you're nearby and you're hungry, stop in for a drink and a burger ... You won't be disappointed!

Longest soap filled lunch of my life. We go in wanting a quick burger and fries to move on with the last day of the trip. We come in and our server just seems annoyed that we are even there. NOW, I know that she had a lot on her plate. I worked in food service so I know how it is and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. We ordered drinks... my mom told the waitress her drink tasted like soap. Like the dishwasher had not gotten it completely rinsed. The waitress said she would bring another but left the old drink on the table. My brother decided to order a mountain dew. He proceeded to say the drink tasted funny as well. She proceeded to ARGUE with my brother stating that she rinsed the cup twice because she knew we would do this to her...really?! I have a 9 month old it's definitely not a highlight to sit at a long lunch. She brought him another in a plastic glass and finally admitted that now others were complaining about it. Odd. I had a water and honestly I had to stop drinking it because it tasted disgusting. On to the food... My brisket was just so so... nothing that great but perfectly edible. My husband did say that his burger was good!!! (hence the two star rating) After all that mess it took us nearly an hour an a half to have a simple lunch filled with excuses. We won't be returning...

Love Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway. Great food and great service. Been there the past two years on vacation. From what I can remember, the first visit was incredible. The only reason I give 4/5 stars is because a person in my party complained about their veggie burger - it was apparently very soggy and not to their satisfaction. I personally love it here and think it's a must for a fun meal.

Nice location, but a little dark inside. Our waiter is okay, but he mumbles a lot and we can't understand a word he says. He is trying to act cool, but is really a bit dorky. Food was okay (nothing to brag about). Nice decor - great location.

Really groovy atmosphere right in the heart of Broadway at the Beach; can't miss the pyramid! The food is actually very good and not too overly-priced, but it is pretty much on-par w/ the rest of MB, which is kinda pricy anyway. The service is very prompt and courteous, but with a bit of salesmanesque feeling (souvenier cups, pix, etc.) but no worries, they're cool if you just say "no thanks". BTW...don't expect to post pix or reviews from inside...the pyramid pretty much kills all celular signals!

It's what you expect for a Hard Rock -- over-priced mediocre food. I ordered the nachos and 1/2 the plate was just chips with nothing on them. "Nice" for over $10.

I was looking forward to a Pig Sandwich from there. I had one in about 03 or 04 and it was great. It reminded me of good NC BBQ. They still have a pulled pork sandwich on the menu but it was a big disappointment. The nachos were great, the pizza fair, the mac and cheese was unpalatable and the service was fair at best. I'll probably not return to this particular store again.

Food was decent got a free 16 oz beer. Waitress was attentive. Here is my beef what are you doing here? You are at the beach why are you at over priced Hard Rock? I had no say in where to go for dinner and ended up here but c'mon people get out there find the hidden gems at the beach! That being said if you know and love the Hard Rock you will know and love this place. Beware though AT&T phones have no reception downstairs.

Came here for probably the 20th time since I was younger. I love this place every time I come. It's the perfect place for a casual date or to the beginning of a night out. We ordered the Nacho appetizer and it was to die for. Our server was upbeat and fun, it's hard to goto HRC and find a server who isn't in my experience. He said they have a full bar, which I then asked if they really did - some beers not present but no big deal. However, when he realized that after three beers they didn't have, he gave us taller beers and gave us one for free, which was an awesome gesture. The food was cooked right, Marguerita pizza was good, burger was cooked perfectly as well as the bacon when asked if I could get it crispy. Overall, compared to the other HRC's I've been to, this one is my favorite, and who doesn't love the Egyptian theme?!

From The Milkshake Man! Ok let's break this milkshake down by the standard formula. Texture- This milkshake had the perfect creamy texture. Five stars Thickness- not bad, a little loose. Four stars Flavor- great vanilla flavor. Four stars Price - $6.00. Reasonable. Four stars The funny thing here is they used Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I just reviewed the B&J vanilla milkshake from around the corner of this place and had to give it 2 stars. This is where technique really comes through. Great Job to the staff at the Hard Rock! A first time Myrtle Beacher: I'll start by saying we arived at 9:30 and they were closing at 10:00 - my table of three have all been servers and can understand a few late tables coming in. However, there were 3 tables sitting w/ menues and 2 more came in after us - we promised to be quick. Our order was simple, two sodas and one lemonaid, nachos w/ beans on the side, bruschetta, and a pulled pork sandwich. The positive, pulled pork was pretty decent - Negitive, our server was just plane mean and rude. Forgot the beans, forgot the side of salsa, forgot the side of bbq, charged us for a lemonaid that we ordered, but never recieved. Our food was cold - the nachos were horrible! they were made w/ shredded cheese which wasn't melted and touched about 1/4 of the chips. Our server never came back to the table, never asked us how the food was - only brought our bill. He did, however come back with refills on the sodas - quickly poured and walked away before we could ask him anything. Over all, our least favorite experience and we all decided we would have rather had the $3.00 pizza we could have had on the strip vs. spending $50.00 for bad food and bad service. Don't drink the "juice" when going to Myrtle Beach. Other than that - we loved Myrtle Beach and our time here!

Came here with coworkers and had one hell of a time! The staff was really friendly and we were seated immediately. This place is cool! It's Egyptian themed so the building is a pyramid with proper decor inside... when you arrive you walk down into it so definitely a memorable restaurant in one way or another. When I went it was rather slow at the moment, but that didn't hinder the dining experience. The food came out fast, and the drinks faster. I got sucked into buying a large mixed drink which included the cup... it was a bit girly but delicious none the less. TV screens everywhere, memorabilia and posters, music blasting... it's a typical Hard Rock! Being from CA and unfamiliar with Myrtle Beach as a vacation spot) I can't see this place being packed (or Myrtle Beach as a whole), but like I said, I'm unfamiliar with SC. My waitress was cute. I'm not going to lie. I have my souvenir cup sitting proudly on my desk!

Over priced and the food is not that good. The service was great when we visited though. If you are a vegetarian beware because bacon comes on just about everything here! It is super touristy, as you may have imagined. We ended up stopping here out of convience and intense hunger for lunch. I was really surprised at the bill for lunch though. For a burger and grilled chicken sandwich with two house salads the bill was close to $40, I kid you not. Super ridiculous and I would suggest you visit somewhere else for better and cheaper food!

I'm not sure of what may have been expected, but we were let down a little. The staff was friendly, the service was typical, and the food was average. Not a place that I would feel "I have to go to HRC next time we're here". The memorabilia was the best part. A nice place, cool pyramid structure, and nice atmosphere.

The draft beers at the outside bar were a good price. We had the jumbo sampler which was really good. The bar staff seemed really busy and we always had to flag someone down to get another drink despite sitting at the bar. After waiting 30 minutes for our appetizer, I had to ask how much longer it would be. The first guy (who was not the one to take our order) said it could take 40 minutes to get an appetizer! That's crazy. Luckily he did check with the guy that tool our order who quickly admitted that he forgot to place our order. We appreciated his honesty. 15 minutes our appetizer was served and our entire check was comped. Despite the food problem it was a good experience and our food problem was handled very well.

We went for lunch while visiting the aquarium. We were actually surprised by the food - it was fantastic. The nachos were awesome and we all enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was of course great as we enjoyed watching videos and listening to the music. Our waiter was great - even offering to take off my son's wristband when he was having a full on two year old tantrum about having to wear it (from our hotel). Pleasantly surprised and planning to return in the future!

The building is nice, I love the pyramid design. We were seated right away, and had an awesome waiter named Dustin. I was a little disappointed with the menu choices, I just expected them to have a larger selection. We started out with an order of potato skins which were good, but not the best I have had. The house salad was really good as was the dressing. I ordered the Red, White and Blue Burger which came with fries. They had a cup of mayo and a cup of buffalo sauce on the side, which was awesome mixed together and used as a dipping sauce. The burger was huge and had a good flavor, my only complaint is that it was pink in the middle and I asked for it to be very well done. The full rack of ribs came out ice cold and tough. We sent them back and they were replaced and taken off of the bill which was great. However the second serving of ribs was not much better so only about half of them were eaten. My husband said the mashed potatoes and gravy were really good and he really liked the ranch beans and coleslaw that came with the ribs. My daughter ordered the twisted mac chicken and cheese which she said was just OK, nothing special. My son ordered the legendary 10 oz burger, which was cooked like he wanted and he said was very flavorful. The fries were really good. Decent stuff, but I think we would try someplace else next time. A bit pricey, but we expected that with it being Hard Rock Cafe.

Hostess was snotty when we first got there and after all a hostesses job should be to smile and be happy all the time. I should have asked her if she would like us to take our 11 people elsewhere. After we got past the hostess the waiter was great and the food was very good. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment and all the interesting things to look at in the restaurant. I don't think that this place will be on my list of musts when I come to Myrtle Beach again but it was alright.

Cool building for this Hard Rock. It is shaped like a pyramid. Inside is fine too as well as the food. Eh... on the fact that Myrtle Beach is not like super duper 'Wow! this is the best place and beach ever though!' Another bonus or minus depending on your opinion is that it is in the parking lot of a shopping mall. Abundant parking in that regard but so not rock and roll!

Seen one HRC seen 'em all? Kind of. It is interesting to visit the various locations, but they are pretty much the same. Most don't come here for the food. We had burgers that were OK. The music was almost uncomfortably loud and we sat at the bar. I've eaten at locations in Vegas,Orlando and St. Thomas. All pretty much the same experience.

Myrtle Beach location: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME!! Overpriced, not good food, service was fair but not overly good. Out of 5 of us, only 2 even thought their food was just ok. The atmosphere isn't worth the bad food and high prices. Just enjoy the cool design of the pyramid building from the outside. If you go inside, the illusion is killed.

I liked the bartender/ waiter in our area, around 10-midnight on our first night in town, and my beers were fine but they can't take credit for Coronas!! Can't believe the place was as empty as it was. Almost lame. And they supposedly close at midnight? WTF???

The memorabilia was typical. The food was served extremely fast at 5:30 on a Thursday night. It was about 1/2 full and the waiter (juice) was very attentive to refills. The meals were plentiful and typical pricing for the restaurant.

Ok as Hard Rock restaurants go. This is one of the cooler looking ones as it is a pyramid. I also get the mac and cheese and salad and they were standard Hard Rock food. Based on the other restaurants that are located near here, this is the safest bet for lunch.

Food was very good and the service was awesome. Dining there was a very nice experience for the whole family. Our server, Bryan, was so personable, that the kids were talking about him hours after the meal.

Most outstanding Hard Rock Cafe I have been to nearly 30 Hard Rock Cafes around the United States, and the pyramid at Myrtle Beach is by far the nicest and most visually appealing. Similar in design to the Luxor in Las Vegas, the interior of the restaurant is decorated with an Egyptian theme that constantly keeps your eyes moving and looking around at the ceiling and walls. The motif and great Southern hospitality make this location a place to definitely visit when staying in Myrtle Beach.

We were vacationing in Myrtle Beach and have the all access card for Hard Rocks. So we have been to many. Our food was delicious, but quite slow for a not so crowded night. Our waiter was friendly and the pyramid is definitely worth seeing.

This has to be my least favorite Hard Rock Cafe ever. And I LOVE the Hard Rock Cafe franchise. So the pyramid is some cool shit. However, the seating could use some work. I just feel like every place you could sit is kinda shitty and secluded, like you're sitting right next to the steps/guardrail and people can just chill and look down at you eating. It's kinda hard to explain but if you get placed in the same spot I was at you'll understand. I also don't dig the photo op time. At other Hard Rock's there's that designated backdrop for you to take your picture at like a red carpet. Here, they do it at your table and you guys all crowd around, seriously what the fuck. Unappealing for everyone. It's not that much of a hot spot from what I can see, and many of the employees aren't people I would look at and be like "You work at the Hard Rock!" The employees at the Hard Rock in Orlando SCREAM Hard Rock Cafe, but not here. Music videos like at any other Hard Rock are fun to dance to.

Went to margaritaville the night before, expected same type of experience. But I was terribly disappointing! The environment is terrible for what I'm paying for the food and drinks. It has gone downhill ! I never expect this kind of place to have excellent food but this was just above average. The decor is dated and boring.

Your typical Hard Rock Cafe. Yes, the pyramid is definitely different than the typical Hard Rock, but the food is nothing to write home about. Also, we were looking at the drink menu, and there were not prices to be found next to the drinks. That's one of the surprises you'll get when you get the bill. Overall, if you're looking for a chain when you're out of town, then Hard Rock is definitely your place to go to.
